At the Liimanninkoski grove conservation area, you’ll discover the deep River Muhos and its diverse environment. This heritage landscape and winding river with its wild rapids are an intriguing cultural and natural attraction – an excellent destination for a day trip!
Liimanninkoski has a 1.4 km nature trail with a lean-to shelter and campfire spot. The first section of the trail – up to the lean-to shelter – is fine for those with strollers. An old granary and threshing barn featuring an exhibition of agricultural items stands at the entry point to the trail. Here, you’ll also find picnic tables.
