Syöte

Syöte

The tree-covered fell area and the Syöte national park invite you to the great outdoors in all seasons.

Located in Pudasjärvi, Finland’s southernmost fell area, Syöte is one of the snowiest areas in Finland in winter, measured by the thickness of the snowfall. This means there is no shortage of snow for winter activities!Adventurers will definitely enjoy the rolling terrain and heavily snow-covered trees.

Whether it’s sledding, snowmobiling, skiing or snowshoeing, Syöte offers a wide variety of activates. You will also find dozens of slopes offering great experiences to skiers of all levels.

Syöte also presents excellent opportunities for cycling all year round. Fatbike mountain bikes are ideal for snowy roads and terrain, and in summer you can take to off-road routes and trails for unforgettable cycling.

A great deal has happened at Syöte in recent years. New accommodation capacity was completed in the area at the end of 2019, and a magnificent boutique hotel opened at the top of the fell in late 2020. LumiAreena at the foot of the slopes is great for larger meetings and events.

One place, two resorts and a national park. Welcome to Syöte!
