Rokua National Park

Rokua National Park is famous for its ridge formations and heath forests. Founded in 1956, the national park belongs to Rokua Geopark, which is part of the Geopark network supported by UNESCO. The area boasts many clear lakes and kettles originating from the glacial period. The old natural forests in the national park are the habitat of some endangered plants and insects. The historic landscapes and well-maintained paths make Rokua National park a great destination for nature-lovers.
