The theatre of Oulu is the largest professional theatre in northern Finland. The theatre’s brilliant staff serves their audiences with a wide range of high-quality productions.
The theatre building is located in a scenic spot in the city centre. It offers about 400 performances each year, with about eight premieres. In addition to plays, the theatre also produces opera performances and other musical theatre. The programme includes performances for children. An international children and young people’s theatre festival brings joy to the city every spring.
The theatre building also offers versatile and technically first-class premises for all meetings, seminars and functions.
